Hello and Dead Timer / Convergence

On R2 and BB2 we are going to decrease the convergence time

Note: Different hello and hold-down time can form neighborship But  the hello time should be minimum then the hold-down time of the neighbor. Ok Lets start our configuration.

BB1#sh run int e0/0

 ip address 155.1.21.1 255.255.255.0

 ip hello-interval eigrp 100 3

 ip hold-time eigrp 100 9

R2#sh run

interface Ethernet1/0

 ip address 155.1.21.2 255.255.255.0

 ip hello-interval eigrp 100 2

 ip hold-time eigrp 100 6

 half-duplex

end

See here the hello and hold-down time of both the neighbor are different but still we have the neighborship
