Auto RP

To Crete a mapping agent now. First make sure layer 1-3 everything works fine.

Lets configure the PIM Sparse mode here.

R1(config-if)#ip pim sparse -mode

 

Here am going to set mapping agent as R2 and RP as R3

To enable the auto RP

R2(config)#ip pim send-rp-discovery loopback 0 scope 255 interval 5
